I’m Ethan Gardner, a freelance web designer and developer from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been working in as a web professional since 2004 and have coded or designed over 100 websites generating over 1 million visits per month.
My objective as a freelance designer is to take the knowledge I have gained while working for Fortune 500 companies, a business-to-business media company, and some of the world’s premier upscale golf destinations, and apply it to web design for the outdoor industry and small businesses.
The blog provides a unique outlook on combining elements of web design, development, and SEO to make websites more successful. In the articles, I provide simple explanations for complex problems, design inspiration, website performance tips, and philosophy on the web as a medium.
Armed with a formal education in Electronic Media, big agency experience, and work in several niche markets, I understand the “big picture” of the project life-cycle and offer a unique perspective based on my expertise. In my free time, I am a musician, outdoor sports enthusiast, husband, and an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. Feel free to get in touch with me or add me as a contact on Delicious, LinkedIn, Twitter, StumbleUpon, or Flickr.
